• Chang'e (嫦娥)is based on the Chinese Moon Goddess in Chinese mythology, she is the subject of several legends in Chinese mythology.
  • Her large crescent moon halo which she is riding on is the proof.
• Strangely, when the player is downloading some sources of the game, Chang'e's appearance is different: her head is larger than her original entry animation, while it returns normal in complete source.
• In Chinese zodiac, the Rabbit (卯) is the fourth of the 12-year cycle of animals which appear in the Chinese zodiac related to the Chinese calendar. These are Rabbit years: 1939, 1951, 1963, 1975, 1987, 1999, 2011, 2023.
• A recent update released her in the game instead of Selena. (Patch 1.2.80)
• In one of her quotes, Chang'e mentions Roger while addressing to her rabbit companions; this is a reference to his wolf form, since wolves are known for hunting many animals including rabbits.
• When standing, she is one of the smallest heroes in the game. She is only quite taller than Diggie.
• Her portrait shows her holding a V sign; however, the sign is also meant more to look like a bunny's ears.
