In the hands of a skilled player, Cyclops is a very powerful mage that is often underestimated. His passive skill reduces the cooldown for all abilities with every successful hit (done by his abilities), which allows Cyclops to maintain high firepower. His 1st ability unleashes two projectiles dealing decent damage in the path of fire, and his 2nd ability grants Cyclops temporary boosted movement speed with 5 projectiles dealing damage to the closest enemy. His ultimate, Star Power Lockdown, is a powerful single-target spell dealing significant damage while immobilizing the enemy (immobilization duration is based on the spell's travel distance). Cyclops' lacks a strong escape mechanism, so positioning is key.

- - Best combo for Cyclops is Ultimate - 2nd Skill - 1st Skill - 2nd Skill, This will allow you to catch enemies and burst them down.
Tips for Different Lanes[]
- - Mid Lane/Supp: always rotate to gold lane first. Roam with your tank or core. Stay in the bush to catch enemy heroes with your ultimate.
- - Gold Lane: stay in the bush and clear enemy wave minions. Poke the enemy hero on your lane so it is easier for you and your team jungler to kill the enemy hero when the jungler visits your lane.
- - Exp Lane: poke enemy hero especially if the enemy hero is short range since they will have a hard time to come near you. Dont target the wave minion, instead let them kill each other and scare the enemy hero so that they cant come near the minions, since they rely on the exp the minions will give. Try to poke the enemy hero if they are cutting the wave.
- - Roam: use dire-hit or encourage as your roaming equipment. You may use your usual build or use a semi-mage, semi-tank build. Stay with your team's jungler.
- - Jungler: Cyclops as a jungler is an old meta that is slowly coming back. Cyclops will need assistance from a tank for jungling during early game. It is important to have a tank when using Cyclops as jungler since he does not have any blink skills and is easy to be catched. Cyclops should prioritize farming in the early game and when he has cooldown reduction item that is when he can start joining team fights. It is important to stay behind the tank when using Cyclops as a jungler.

Counters[]
- - Cyclops can easily counter heroes who have blink skills and slippery heroes. He can use his ultimate on heroes like Lancelot (If the player who doesn't know how to play him) to immobilize him so your team can target him easier. He can also use his ultimate on heroes like Ling during teamfights so that he can waste his ultimate just so that he can dodge Cyclops' ultimate, it will not be a waste of Cyclops' ultimate since he has quick cooldwon.
Most personal threats[]
- - Cyclops is easily countered by mages and assassins especially those who have high burst or CC since Cyclops does not have any blink skill to dodge and no purify skill as well. His only mobility is the additional speed given by his 2nd skill.
